How to {naturally} clean your shower

So i’ve been MIA again!
Why?…

No explanation needed right??!
We’re moving on the weekend, so guess what i’ve been doing??!

But, i wanted to pop in say “hi”, let you know that i am still alive, i will be back & to share a cleaning tutorial.

Now, this is disgusting AND embarrasing!!
BUT, because i appreciate you all so much & because i believe that it may be of a help to some, i’ll humble myself!!! ; )

How to {naturally} clean your {EXTREMELY water stained} shower!!

Needed:
Baking Soda
White Vinegar
A Large Paintbrush
Water
A bowl for mixing
Rags
Scrubbing Brush
Half a Lemon

Here’s my before picture (told you it was disgusting & embarrasing!!!)

Now to clean…
Step 1:
Mix up a paste of baking soda and water.
I used about a cup of baking soda and enough water to just make it into a thick paste.

Use a large paintbrush to completely cover your shower glass inside and outside.

Let it sit for around 30minutes.
A bit longer is ok, but you don’t want it to completely dry out!

Step 2:
Wash out the bowl that you used to mix the paste.
Pour in about 2 cups of white vinegar.

Using your scrubbing brush start scrubbing!
This should only take a few minutes.
You’ll know that the water stains are coming away when the scrubbing feels easier.

Step 3:
Use a clean rag, dipped in white vinegar, to wipe down both sides of the glass.
Don’t use the left over vinegar from scrubbing as that will have baking soda in it from double-dipping.
Keep rinsing the rag in warm water, adding vinegar & wiping until all baking soda residue is gone.
Your glass should be looking alot cleaner and clearer now : )

Step 4:
Cut a lemon in half.

Squeeze the edges of peel (this will help the juice come out).
Wipe all over the inside and outside of the glass.

Step 5:
Finally, give the glass one more wipe over with white vinegar.

Easy, natural and only takes a few minutes of scrubbing!!

Hope this will be of help to someone!! Otherwise my embarrassment and confession will have been for nothing!!!
